Going to the Big Island

Hello everyone,

The wife supprised me with a trip to the Big Island leaving in a week from today. Can anyone suggest any turners to visit while I am there? Or any shops to look at displays bowl designs and such. Any help would ne greatly appreciated.

There is a rally nice guy on the Family Woodworking site named Royall Clark that is near Hilo... you might go over there and contact him.... Years and years ago I spent a weeks vacation on the Kona coast... really enjoyed the island.

I like Hawaii. You are never alone. Everytime you reach in your pocket, there is someone else's hand in there already. Just to touristy and expensive. Everything cost more.
