If anyone is looking to expand their turning skills you can take a class with me at Arrowmont. Won't be about pen turning, but about everything else turning. I'm taking a class called "the art of non-violent woodturning" which I'm hoping to learn more about the "cuts" and not just ripping away wood. It's a week long in July in Gatlinburg, TN. I'm driving. It's going to be about 1100$, that's including tuition, a room, and 3 meals a day.

Been looking at the class since I received the first mailing. Enjoy and report back. Oh and have fun.
 
Hope you have fun and learn lots of good stuff. Let us know how it went after you get back. And oh ya, take pictures if you are allowed. Sure would like to go myself.

I would like to visit with someone who lives in the Cabot AR area. I have been learning to turn for about two years. Now I feel like I am ready to try more things.
