I have been turning pens for nearly 10 years. At first as a hobby but after a while friends and family encouraged me to start selling my creations. I tried to make a business out of it and did make a bit of money, but it turned out to not be sustainable (for a number of reasons). Long story short, I have a good bit of inventory that I will probably never use and would like to recoup a bit of the cost.

Here is a general description of what I have (if you are interested, please PM or eMail me and I can send detailed lists):

  • Kits - nearly 200 of various designs with a value (cost I paid) of over $1,100.00.
  • Blanks - over 650 blanks (woods, burls, historical woods, acrylics, inlay kits, and more) with a value of over $1,900.00.
  • Other miscellaneous parts (Slimline clips, ring cores, presentation boxes, misc laminate materials, etc.) worth around $250.00.
  • Uncut wood that can be milled into blanks (including some historical woods from places like Ghirardelli Square, Seattle Pier 91, San Quentin, and others) valued over $350.00.
  • Other project kits such as seam rippers, utensils, styli, candlesticks, etc. worth around $170.00.
  • Nearly $250.00 collection of bushings.
  • Storage solutions for the kits and blanks.
  • More miscellaneous "stuff" that I won't need anymore...
This is over $4,000.00 in value. I know I can't expect full value, but I feel 75% would be a fair deal so I would like to get $3,000.00. This may be negotiable under the right circumstances. Please contact me and we can discuss.

I am not interested in piecing this out -- it's all or nothing please. I am in central Arizona and, of course, this would be best picked up locally, but I am willing to ship at the buyer's expense and the method they choose.

Thank you for your consideration.

This is just a small sample of the blanks:

Can't tell you the number of times a family member or friend would say "you should sell them". I reply with "what would you like to buy" ? The only thing I hear next is crickets chirping. Sorry your plans did not work out.
