I have no where to stack this----really couldn't afford to buy it.

Box Elder---this wood was cut 5 years ago and is very dry.
Just got it unloaded---the walk ways in the shop are smaller now.
Thought you folks might enjoy a pic of the haul----:)

Finding the suppliers is only part of the trick----coming up with the cash is the hard part. The only reason I can buy wood like this is the fact that I am a turner.
If I was just resaleing the wood------I wouldn't mess with it.
 
Nice haul Gary. I took down a box elder on the property line with my neighbour about 4 years ago. Hardly any colouring in it at all. Most wound up as firewood. Since I don't heat the place with it and just have a fireplace to be enjoyed occasionally it has lasted. Cutting it up last year found some really nice spalted stuff that found it's way into pen blanks. With that colouring I can see most of that being turning blanks.
