It is hard for me to understand the depth of animosity that follows certain teams. I have a friend that grew up close to U of Florida but graduated from FSU. Last year while in the States, she and her husband were visiting us in MS during the UF and UCLA finals. She pulled for UCLA. This year she pulled for OSU. I have met a couple of other Floridians who do the same.

I grew up with the Ole Miss / Miss State controversy and know the UTx and other TX and U OK feuds, but usually people WILL pull for other State or Regional teams when their team is not in contention. Not so with some UF and FSU fans. That kind of animosity is hard for me to follow. []
