I've seen several members with a mod'ed IAH logo with their Chapter @ the bottom. I've been poking around and haven't found one.
Is there a Houston one??

I cant speak for North Texas or Central Texas, but why not make a trifecta and do all 3?

Laser Engraving

Folks I have an offer out there once the logo design is finalized.

The Pearland Mailbox Store will offer a laser engraved version of the logo. It will be engraved out of 1/16" ot 1/4" wood stock with a magnetic clip. We can also provide a space for a name so we are not so anonymous at our meetings:).

You can wear it to meetings, gatherings, trade shows, craft shows or your local wood turning supply store.

If this idea takes off pricing should work out to $5 or $7 each.

I like the logo but is there a way to put a sillouette of the state of TX in the backgroub with a star representing the Houston Area. Not sure if the by laws allow for this or not but I think it would make it stand out more.

It could also be used for other TX chapters by moving the star to their location.

Just a thought.
 
HOW MANY FEMALE PEN TURNERS ARE IN THIS GROUP? AND, I LIVE IN PASADENA, ABOUT 6-7 BLOCKS OFF BW8. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO HOLD SOME MEETINGS IN MY SHOP. BY THEN, I WILL HAVE 3 LATHES AND WE CAN HAVE SOME DEMOS. THIS WILL BE THE LAST SUMMER THAT I DONT HAVE AN AIRCONDITIONED SHOP, SO WE CAN BE COMFORTABLE IF YOU ALL WANT TO HAVE SOME MEETINGS HERE IN MY SHOP.
