Gel Promoter

Anyone have much experience using Gel Promoter with PR?
I wasted more resin today than I should have trying it out. Even the smallest recommended amount gelled so badly I couldn't pour the PR.

Been there , done that . I have tried it and found that it gelled very unpredictably , and way too fast to be useful .

yeah Butch that was what I ran into. One color gelling and another color same amount of promoter not gelling.....it's not worth wasting any more resin! I had better luck just guessing when to pour!

As nasty as PR resin is , Gel promoter is even worse. I got rid of mine before I even used it just because of the caustic odors. It is bad stuff
