FYI: Penmaking class at Arrowmount

For those potentially interested in a week long, total immersion class in
penmaking, there is session this August at Arrowmont. If you aren't familiar
with Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinsburg TN, it is a premier
teaching facility. This session will be the first time that penturning
(penmaking) has ever been taught there. It promises to be a great week.

The instructor is Kurt Hertzog.

It looks like it will be a very educational, as well as, creative week. I wish that it were not on the other side of the country from me. I have learned a lot from Kurt every time I have attended one of his workshops and I am sure that this would be great.

And I just got back from Gatlinburg, also known as the biggest Carnival in the lower Appalachian Mountains. I could be tempted to go back there to get some instruction from Mr. Hertzog Even though I swore I'd never go back there again.
