Well just a start anyway, I started this the first night and havent got back to it. Its re Mallee and is about 17x8x4. I boltrd the lathe down so its super nice doing these winged bowls as you dont have to hold the lathe down like on my mini:D

Whoaaa Nolan! You're the kind of guy that I'd love to have for a next door neighbor. Meanwhile, mine golfs.

BTW, I read an article somewhere talking about bolting down a lathe. I've been thinking about doing the same thing. If I remember correctly, the article talked about making certain your floor was level so as not to strain the ways. But, I might just be making this up. :) (I might have read it in an "Ask Dale" column in WD.)

Nolan nice find on the lathe....Looks like a great bowl going on there too. I got my find delivered last night, a Jet 1642evs with less than 8 hours on it. I can't wait to put it back togeather & turn like the big boys.
