Has anyone successfully created a method to attach the frixion eraser to a pen body or cap? The refill fits most of the rollerball kits, but the deal breaker is the eraser.
I have been using Frixion Gel pens with my "Rocketbook"- which I really like. When I fill out a page, I scan it with the Rocketbook App on my phone, and it sends the scanned page to a OneNote page on my computer. Once sent, I use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe the page clean (instead of using an eraser). You can reuse the pages over and over.If you have/make a place to drill out an appropriately sized hole, you could use these classic style erasers that slide in and are gripped with the metal clip like holder. They are maybe 1/4" diameter.
Fun fact: I was researching the frixion a while back and discovered that it's basically a disappearing ink. The heat from the friction of rubbing an eraser on it is what makes it disappear, unlike graphite, which is rubbed off of the surface of the paper. I've been meaning to experiment with applying heat using a different method to test that.
Never head of the Rocketbook, but they look pretty cool. I had to laugh about the heat register, but I suppose it wasn't funny at the time. Looks like I don't need to experiment now.I have been using Frixion Gel pens with my "Rocketbook"- which I really like. Here's my Fun Fact: I set the Rocketbook notebook on the heat register next to my table in a cafeteria (to make room for my lunch.) It was cold outside, so the heater was on. It heated up my notebook and erased most of the content. ugh.
