I'm here! My name being used as the title of a thread got my attention. Seriously, thank y'all for your concern. Several reasons why I haven't been posting. I was in Nixa, MO babysitting the grands when the tornado activity came through. We were prepared there with a storm room but the worst passed about 25 miles east. Back at home, the damage to Gassville, Arkansas was only a few miles west of my house where my wife was. We had no damage. And, we have an excellent, mostly underground, storm room and are well provisioned for emergencies. When I'm at my sons house, I pretty much take a break from the computer so didn't log on while up there. Back home, the tornado put out all land line telephone, cell phones and Internet services. The cell service came back first. It wasn't until yesterday (Thursday) that land line telephone got back reliably and the Internet service was restored. That was about the same time I got back home also. So, we are fine. About half the town of Gassville is destroyed. The miracle is that there was only one fatality. Very sad all around. That area is still mostly without electric or telephone service. The highway is now open again but a great deal of clean up and rebuild must still be done.
