Fountain Pen

I'd like to build a fountain pen kit, Can you guys recommend a Nice kit from Exotic or PSI?
I've looked somewhat and theres just so many choices for someone that dont know anything about fountain pens.

Any from Exotic that has a JoWo #6 nib will be a good choice...one of the Juniors.

I've made a Magnetic Graduate and a Magnetic Executive. After making Beaufort Mistral and realizing that the non-posting screw top was a pain, I decided to try a magnetic top. I'm sold. The nibs are not great and non-standard, but I'm learning to tune them and have one working very nicely, thank you.

A magnetic Vertex from PSI is an unusual pen, whilst the Classic Elite2 is somewhat lighter but elegant. One of the best kit pens available has to be the Mistral series (beaufortink.co.uk) - their fountain pens are a delight both to make and use. Alas, they are expensive though.

I will second Don's (@its_virgil) and Kevin's (@NJturner) recommendations.

The Jr kits from Exotic Blanks that use Jowo #6 nibs are all nice kits and the Jowo #6 are interchangeable which is nice if you decide you want a different size tip (eg, broad vs, medium or fine).

The Apollo kit from Bullseye uses a Schmidt #5 and the Artemis uses a Schmidt #6, both good nibs but not quite as widely available. if you decide you want a different size tip. Also, these two kits are closed end kits that look like clipless and/or kitless when closed. These kits required mandrels to make (Kate sells them too) and she has a nice set of videos out there on making the kits.

Thanks for the great replies. I like buying from Exotic. I'll probaby just go with There Jr Kits. I just want to try a fountain type for my own curiosity.
There service so far has been excellent

Being a fountain pen person, I've made quite a number of the PSI models. My favourite is their Majestic Jr. model. I like pens that feel well balanced in the hand, and this one certainly fits that bill. If you want some pizzazz, their Broadwell Nouveau Sceptre is pretty spiffy. Not quite as easy to write with as the Majestic Jr., but very pretty. I recently turned a Magnetic Vertex model, and it is growing on me. Almost as nice in the hand as the Majestic Jr.
