You found this where - In the guy's bank vault. Coco burl is rare, and generally, decent sized pieces go into the bowl turning market where they can command very high prices. Even pen blanks of decent size are dear. If I found a slimline out of coco burl I'd probably track down the maker and stab him with it!

So it is settled then, 24kt slimlines and whistle keyrings it is.

Hmmmmm...you might be biting off a little more than you can chew. I have several coco burl blanks that were considered 2nds by the seller. They are probably the only ones that I would truly be upset over if my bother lifted them. Reason: Only that I may never have the opportunity to get more in this lifetime.

I wouldn't make slimlines out of them. I'd go with Emperor's,Gent's,Statesmans,or even Lotus. Something a little more fancy.
