How do forum Tags work?
Where do you find what you have tagged?
How long does it stay tagged?
On a recent "Suggestion" post about putting great pens into its own forum, someone mentioned "Tags". I think it was Mark.
Anyway, I had (still have) a database of about 80 - 100 pen links on my computer to this forum for pens that were WOW, advanced, unique by the likes of Old Griz, Eagle, T McMillan, Lou and many others. However, since the forum did its upgrading, none of these old links to photos exist. Gone. I really hate losing my links to some great pens in days gone by.
Do tags work like this? Are Tags specific to individuals so that I can have my own list? The Suggestions Box's "Best of forum" was my idea of getting special pens together in one place for all. But Mark (?) suggested "Tags". So how does "Tags" accomplish this? And where do you find your own personal list of Tagged items?
On the front page, there is a list of recent tags but I don't see how this will help keep a list of great pens in a folder or grouped together for an individual (such as me) or to the whole forum to see.
