I had bought a couple opener blade kits (sans handle) some time back and do not remember who or where I got them from. I was wondering if anyone knew if they are still available.
I received the first 18 kits I had made as a test. I have 12 dagger style and 6 bowie style
Each kit consists of a blade, guard, collar, and threaded pommel all of twist pattern damasus steel
$38 plus $6 shipping additional kits free shipping (i.e. 1 for $44, 2 for $78, 3 for $120, etc.)
Not sure if I will do more after this we will have to see how it goes
I also have three kits of "raindrop" pattern steel, 2 dagger and 1 bowie. They were an experiment to see but given the blade size they don't look a whole lot different just a slight bit of raindrop pattern to the spine the blade...
