These have been sold - Thanks for Looking - Dave
Greetings from Nebraska.
While organizing my shop I came across my first set of Rockler Carbide and HSS Turning tools. I only used them for a short while until I built my own set of carbide tools. They are in like-new condition and there are even 2 sides of the round cutter and 1 side of the square cutter that have not been used yet and should still be factory sharp. I don't remember ever using the parting tool.
They are 9-1/2" inches long and work great for turning small things, like keychains, pens, bottle stoppers and the like. They set includes a 1/2" inch round (R1) carbide cutter, a 1/2" square radiused corner (Sr1) carbide cutter, and a high speed steel 1/8" inch parting tool. The handles are ash with a molded rubber grip. Here is the link: Rockler Pen-Turning Ergonomic Turning Tools, 2 Carbide, 1 HSS (Item #47600).
New cutters can be purchased from Rockler, Round (R1) Item #47907 for $20, and Square-Radiused (Sr1) Item #47377 for $20. They also sell a Square - Sharp Corners (S1) Item #42282 that will fit for $16.
However, I would recommend getting replacement cutters from AZ Carbide instead. Their AZR1 is a round replacement cutter for Rockler R1 for $14 or a 10 pack for $120. Their AZSR1 is a replacement for the Rockler SR1 for $14 or 10 pack for $110.
The set retails for $140, but I will let them go to a good home for $70 plus $11 for USPS Priority Mail shipping. (Please, only USA buyers because of USPS Priority Mail shipping). So, $81 via PayPal and Thank You for looking.
Best Regards,
Dave
These are my pictures of the tools and the wrench used for changing the cutters.
