That WAS impressive! At least the young man was. He did the spirit of the song Jambalaya right. I love the crawfish on the bellows of his squeezebox.

Jr. "winging" a song his dad wrote wasn't all that impressive. Still it was a class act bringing the youngster out and I have to give him credit for that!! (The rest of my opinions of Jr. as a live performer I'll keep to myself!)

All right!! I finally got on my home computer and got to watch it. I loved it! Of course it mad me "hongry" for some good old fried catfish and some CRAWFISH!!!!!!!!!! Damn I miss Louisiana food!![:p]

Respond and drool!!!! I did cook a pot of jambalaya this week, and plan to try Lance's Cajun corn soup soon, but I MISS crawfish! The frozen Chinese crawfish just don't quite measure up. No lead in them, so they are acceptable.

I have a piece of frozen gator tail and some mudbugs just waiting for the urge to cook 'em up! It may be close!

Crawfish are being served up right now. Normally from the middle of Feb through the end of May I'll be boiling and eating crawfish at least once a week. Cav, if you ever get down this way look me up and we'll be up to our necks in biled crawfish. Anyone else for that matter, if you're in my area just look me up. Us Cajuns know how to have a good time.

By the way the Mardi Gras parades are starting up next weekend. Lots of crazy, drunk fools running around in green, gold and purple suits throwing everything from beads to naked chickens at you. The next three weeks are going to be wild around here.

Lance, I would love to take you up on that!! My daughter lived in Houma for a few months a couple of years ago. She was amazed to find a 24 hour seafood joint. "Daddy, I can get crawfish at 2 AM if I want them!!"

Crawfish and Mardi Gras!! It just doesn't get any better than that! [:p][:p][:p]

I didnt see the video but it must be an old clip. Hunter is around fifteen now I saw him live a couple of weeks ago at the Mardi Gras festival here in Lafayette Louisiana.

That was better than I could ever do. I loved it.
Cav, you can get fresh crawfish from www.cajungrocer.com . We have a bunch sent up to us every year and have a big ol' boil. They also have all kinds of cajun food that is almost as good as the stuff I had when I was stationed there.
