odd that you should ask this a I live in the fly fishing capital of the world we have the hardys factory in Alnwick and I was in there museum a couple of days ago looking at an antique fly box i was going to take photos and have a go at making a copy in mahogany it looked sweeeeeeet
 
I should have that issue of Woodworker's Journal. I was working there as the project builder/designer when that was published. I didn't make it, we bought that project. Send me a private email and I will send you the plans. My scanner is acting up, I'll try it again before I mail it.

Can you believe the actual size of that section of the tree? Just imagine the bowl and pen blanks we could get out of it! I had no idea that the species was that HUGH!
