I'd been kicking the idea around in my head to make a floral overlay with gemstones, for a while, and finally was able to work on it. I made the overlay from silver and set 2mm natural amethyst and peridot, and lab grown blue spinel in the center of each flower. The clip and finial coin are silver as well. I made the rest of the pen from a green acrylic. It's a mid/average size pen at around 5.25" capped, and a half inch diameter at the cap threads. It weighs about 34 grams.
