I am replacing all of the "stock" fan pulls in my house with ones I am making (since I can) and am having a problem picking something for my sons room.

He has a white ciling fan with bright brass for the metal work. I do not know what kind of wood will look good with it that will not clash too much.

Any help?

maybe something like this? Maple, beech and walnut.

Thank you for the suggestions.

I might try the last one just to see if I can and if not go with light maple.

Matching a 7 year old's room decor is kind of hard as the colors are all over the place.

For him, how about a brass one? They aren't too hard on the tools and could look real cool.
For her, I think you could score a lot of points with her by using some multi-colored acrylic. Ed4copies had some real funky rainbow stuff, the woman bought us out of it.
