First time turning Desert Ironwood

My first time turning Desert Iron Wood (Steven Davis). It is flawed but is beautiful. It has a home with the kid at HF who always ends up loading my Jeep with the heavy stuff like the lathe and locking cabinet. I think it's beautiful and will turn one for myself.

Thank you! He asked how much I sell them for and I told him I'd participate in the next local craft fair. He said he'd buy a couple so let him know. I'm glad no one has said that I am foolish for giving away a pen I turned. I won't always give them away.
