A friend has a cnc setup that can do very small pieces. This is the first test piece to see what kind of detail we can get and I think it came out great. We may use this one or may not, there Dragons. The next one we will use as a pattern and do 2 or 3 more. I'll take them to a place that will make rubber molds for wax patterns and thay will cast all that I need when I need them at a very reasonable price.

After things realy get going I may have parts to sell and give out how to contact the person with the CNC router where they can have custom parts or patterns made.

What the .... That is really cool! I think it would be much better suited worked into a centerband or posting cap than a nib as it looks kind painfull to write with. Also, that pen needs a matching centerband with the same simple round profile that you have on the nib, it would really bring that pen alive.

Might I suggest a ebony turned funnel attached to a desk pen base and then find a pewter dragon to attach to the base. That would be an awesome desk set.

Now that looks real cool! I see those Gisi pens and wonder how we could ever come close to making a pen like that. With parts like this, we're getting closer.

The Dragon Is Here. I thought I would let everyone know that starting in two weeks or less I will have available solid sterling silver parts for desk pen sets. The first one you may of seen is the dragon pen. It will have a Celtic knot center band and a flame holder of sterling that you mount in the wood or stone of your choice. I will have photos to post late this evening and will start taking orders.
I'm so excited to see this start to happen. If anyone has ideas of a design they would like to have parts made Jeff can do it. I will have all info online this evening
