First successful cast pen

Hi,

This is my first successful cast pen.

Black resin & Bird seed.

For anyone else crazy enough to try one you only use abrasives on the blank. No steel or carbide tools.

Great work Lyle! I'm curious, why no tools? Are the seeds to soft? I had a couple ideas along this line...input would help!
