First Spinning Top

Hey All,
Kid in me came out today while i had a little time in the shop, I made my first, but not last spinning top. It is made out of a scrap piece of oak wood. It turned out nice, i think. I gave it a spin t spun for over 2 minutes. Hope you enjoy it.

Two minutes? WOW!!


My absolute best finger tops only go for just over 1 minute. I can get throw tops to go for three or four minutes, but not a finger top... two minutes is amazing! Awesome top!!!

This is the tip to one similar to the one that spun so long. I gave the long spinning top to a friend.
