First show

I do not know what to compare to, but the show in dallas turned out to be a small private art show. I was the only one there selling my work, plus it was only for 2 hours sat nite. I was happy with the turnout, managed to sell 14 pens, a combination of barons, sedonas,statesmans, and emperors. I am still having trouble with loading pics.

Holy cow... Congrats.. I still work most of a day to sell 14 pens, and never all that high end.

Good for you. Hopefully since it was an art show, you had them priced well (ie high enough) as well.

Congratulations!!!

I'd love to tell you your results are normal, but, instead I can only say, "Don't get used to 7 pens an hour"!! Many shows, 7 pens a day is pretty good (10 hour day!)

The 'Art Show' is part of the key - people who are looking at our pens with an artist's eye (or at least with an appreciation of art) are more open to purchasing our efforts.

BTW - great first show. May all yours be that good.
