I made this set out of Birch and Sapele. I never tried segmenting before and decided to try with limited tools in my shop. I cut these with a circular saw set at 45 degrees. They turned out a lot better than I expected, but I did experience some bleeding of the wood dust while sanding and had trouble even after cleaning off with acetone and compressed air. Maybe next time I'll try skipping the sanding and go straight to the CA. Let me know what you think :)

Good job, Kevin. As for the bleeding, try using a skew to get a nice smooth finish and then go straight to CA. It takes a little practice, but once you get handy with the skew, it will leave a super smooth surface.
