What a great feeling. I took my wife to dinner at a local sports grill we frequent, and took a handful of pens (I've only made about three handfuls since I started in Jan.) to show a friend who works there. She was not aware of pens being turned. Not only did she buy one, but another patron who saw what I had also bought one. I didn't go there to sell anything, so I was totally surprised when I actually sold two of my pens. I guess reading all those posts in the forums really helped. I'm happy knowing someone besides me likes what I made.

Congratulations Tom, I always try to carry one of my best looking pens with me and business cards too.

You never know when an opportunity will present itself to you, be prepared!
