I had this gorgeous hunk of olive. It had a huge crack in the center and the crack is lined with bark. I already did a small bowl from a similar piece, and really did not want to duplicate it so I wondered what it would look like if I filled it with Turquoise. It is about 2 1/2" Dia. and 2" tall. I am thinking about making a pocket watch.

I stabilized it with Cactus Juice first to make sure the pores in the bark were filled, and finished with Alumilite white with a touch of blue.

Maybe next some pen blanks with the same materials!

Comments and criticisms welcome!
