First pen from casting

Warren was kind enough to give me the Pearl-Ex combo he used for one that I really liked. I added some 653 Red Russet so I wouldn't be a total slimball. With no artistic talent, I wanted to add something based on what he told me. Thanks Warren!!!!
4oz pour from a CSUSA kit...about a year old. 12 drops per color . The copper set after 15 min but set fast...I should have mixed it sooner, but oh well. Some air bubbles hidden by the clip. It wasn't as chippy as I'd have thought...had good feather with a 3/8 skew. To sum it up...I'm extremely proud of myself...and working on the next step. Thanks to all you guys that put up tutorials and answer questions from us new kids!!:good:

Nice to see another first timer! Brave going for a two colour cast for the first one!!

Looks good though, almost like a Burr!!

jim retake the pics and repost with some day light hitting that pen so we can appreciate those colors...its hard to see as-is but does look promising.
