First in the world!!
I am officially laying claim to being the first in the world (or at least in my world) for this one!!!! I have GOOGLED it, hunted high and low, and I cannot find another person, anywhere to have made pen blanks from ..................LEGIT, GENUINE, SHRED Canadian Currency.

It's taken me some time, but I finally got my vision complete! It was freshly "minted" this morning, so I have to wait until the PR sets, but it looks good. I hope I can get a completed pen done this weekend! I will keep you all posted

I'm hoping to work out the recipe, but for now this is the first block done. A bit expensive to make, but hopefully well worth it.............

I'm not sure the market will bear the cost, if you are shredding your own!!!

But, Congrats, anyway.

Now turn it and see how many bubbles:mad::mad::mad::mad:you find --- yes, this IS experience talking!:cool::cool:

I hope so................:eek:. Just kidding. I actually bought the shred from the "Bank of Canada" where they do all the shredding from old, worn out bills. The BofC does sell it & I did have to sign a contract with them about the shred, how it is used.... etc. etc. etc. So it is true Currency, and by legal means!

Is that Legal by law.:rolleyes::biggrin:

my local bank sells jars of american currency that has been shredded, and you don't even have to sign a contract or nothing. Probably because it is worth more as paper than as money?
