My brother bought us a gallon of Silmar 41 and a sample package of Alumilite dyes. We a did 3 color pour in the colors of the Chicago Blackhawks as my Wife wanted a pen in their colors. We warmed it slightly mixed, poured it in 3/4" PVC pipes and let it rest for 2 days before we de-molded and gave it a shot turning. It turned very smooth with no cracked areas or air pockets, VERY happy with our first go at it. I included a couple pics of us taking it out of the molds, finished shots of the pens and a view of our work area. Fun first experience! More techniques and tries to come!

Here's another shot turning it, loved the ribbons it came off with. Also nice to be finally turning between centers using the wonderful toolrests from Rick Herrell!
