first casting try

here is my first try at casting. and a pen i made with the results was a simple blue and red with pearlx.

yea i have been using the cell phone for pic not the best of choices

Looks good. Use a cork/plug or tape on the pipe. You won't have that big bulb on the end.

Thanks on the cork idea. I used my wifes hot glue gun to plug the tube ends. That was a bugger to get out but it did work.

Only gonna fault you on the pic's Mark!! Looks like it deserves a good photo:wink:. How did you like the casting process...What did you learn?

Learned that i should have checked my pressure tank better for leaks. It is easy to over do it when tinting the resin. That the resin i got at hobby lobby turns lots different than a blank that is purchased. And last that it near drove me nuts to cast the blanks then go out in the semi and have to see the blanks a week after casting.
