First Casting Attempts

Having got a taste for making PR blanks, I decided to cast up a few brass pen tubes in clear resin to see what would happen.

The two on the left have electronic components glued to them. I'll probably not use them as one of the transistors fell off before it cured and sticks out the side of the blank.

The two in the middle are cut from a Stella Atrois lager can.

The two at the right hand side contain printouts of a photo of a Stackers jewellery box. (Explained here.)

Cool stuff, Ken. I like your imagination. I just started casting myself. I have some great blanks so far, but have not glued stuff to the tubes yet. That'll be my next step though.

Labels Peeled

The damned labels peeled off my first attempts to cast sticky label blanks.

Well, at least the ink didn't run like it did on my first attempt.
