Nice...!

Your pic is a lot better than what you think, that was indeed the first thing I notice, wow a clear macro shot...! If I had a camera capable of producing at least that sort of quality, I would be a happy chap...!

You certainly have the "turning bug" pretty bad, huh?

Cheers
George

yup i got the bug, well I've had the bug awhile i guess
i love this camera, very user friendly. i just gotta get the hang of it
a samsung SL202 10.2 megapixel
(my last camera was 2 megapixel:eek:)

Sweet! Now we can do some trading! Be sure to get back to me on that silicon mold I sent you and I am now set up to do the custom size molds... What size did you want?

The pen looks fine and looks like you now have the casting bug. It is amazing the things you can put on a pen. Keep it up. Thanks for showing.

Just my opinion with the photography thing, loose the background. People that use so many props just take away from the main object, the pen. Cameras do funny things that you do not see until the photo is printed. The wood maybe robbing some of the light or focus thuis making the pen look abit cloudy which I don't think it does but you have it in front of you so you would know better. Good luck with your new toys.

By the way are you using a pressure pot???? If so what is your setup like???

Very nice looking pen! Be careful when the ton of snakeskins arrives - - - make sure they are separated from their owners before you handle them.

thanks all
JMhoff-thanks but a custom size probably isn't needed, the one your sending will probably work just fine, but who knows, i may need a bigger size or something...
and yes am looking forward to future trades:)
as for a pressure pot, no i did not use one, instead used a bowl of warm water and toothpicks.
I'd love to get ahold of some older stamps! especially since my mom is a little peaved i stole 2.50 worth of stamps:rolleyes:
trust me i know about the snakeskins.
since I'm a traditional archer i belong to forums in which these things are vermin and are used as bow backings (for looks)
these guys have tons that they are willing to trade for pens...

Well.. you can always scan the stamps and print them out on adhesive
labels.

You think she's peeved over $2.50? Try casting someone's
upside down Jenny..

Wow, that's a nice looking pen. Looking forward to seeing more casting. I haven't made that plunge yet, and I don't imagine my first will turn out that nice.

If you need to get rid of that rosewood burl to keep from cluttering the pictures, you can send it to me.
