I tried casting several years back and basically I really sucked at it. On my Group in Facebook and in here I watched some videos and looked things up and this is the first pen from my casts i did yesterday. I kind of messed up and did not measure the acrylic when I poured it and then found I did not use enough for my mold I made yesterday and with that mold I understood the importance of having the mold sit in a container if it leaks which of course mine did but just a little so now I think the leakage may have sealed it but will not take any chances in the future. This was a 4 color flip cup pour and the reason there is a copper is because I needed to hurry up and make some more to get to the 3/4 inch level, next time measure then pour (note to myself). No pressure pot used.
