First Attempt...cross your fingers

So I'm at work and in my chamber at home is a test piece of redwood burl. I am dying it first with Denatured Alcohol and Blue Dye under Vacuum. Then once that's dry, in goes the Pentacryl to try and stabilize it. I want me some Cactus Juice someday!...it's on my Christmas List!

Someone please re-assure me I did it right...

Good luck on the stabilizing. I have some pentacryl myself and was wondering if it would work for any kind of stabilizing. Please keep us updated as to whether it works for you or not.
