I had a friend of mine who is a motorcycle officer challenge me to make him a unique set of fire place tools. The tool stand bottom is wrapped in motorcycle chain while the upright is a bike fork with twisted 1/4" round stock to hold each tool.
The tools are forged, the shovel blade is hand formed and the handles are motorcycle chain. He was pleased and I had fun C&C welcome.

I think that this set is unique and I bet your friend is real happy. Looks like a lot of work and the shovel must have taken some time to do.
Nice job. How long did it take to make the entire set?

Being as I do this week-ends (after honey-do's) about two weeks but some of that was trying things and expermenting then redoing. Now I think I could do that set in about 6 to 8 hours.
