Fire Bowl version 2. Part of my series of explorations in fire imagery. Elm with flame tongues cut out with a gourd saw then carved and airbrushed. Finished with EM6000 waterborne lacquer. Around 6" (15 cm) across.
Very interesting. I think this is something that I would need to make a lot of bowls before I was ready to cut one up like this after I turned it. But, I can see the appeal.
