Been playing around with some PR and filling some orders. Usually every few castings I'll get a wild hair to try and recreate one of my very first castings that has been impossible for me to copy. I wrote everything down back then but I just couldn't get the same look as the original (seen here):

It's always been my favorite blank and today I finally got as close I think I ever will. Hopefully I can make some more and make it part of my inventory bc it is the one that turns heads. I'm also including two other blanks I was playing around with, I needed to get a better all around color swirl on the brown/white but I do like the look. All I did was turn them round between centers and sanded with 240 and a bit of plastic polish. Comments/questions/critiques more than welcome and thanks for looking!

Turned the blue ice blank that I got from you at the GA IAP meeting, turned out nice with a white tube. Thanks!

They're all cool looking, but I especially like the first blank of the new batch... The colors remind me of the painting 'Starry night'. In fact, I think that would be a good name for the blank. How many blanks do you generally send to the person who comes up with the name?

They are true beauties. I like them all. I believe your casting ability is awesome. Nicely Done....

I love the blue sparkles...

Cool, I'd love to see a picture of the results! I was always tempted to turn it myself just so I can see what it would look like.

That is a cool name, I originally named it "cosmic shame" since I could never remake it. However, yours has a much more classy feel to it so if I can make more there might be a chance of one or two sneaking away:wink:

The Cosmic Starry Night Shame blanks are fantastic! Good job sticking to getting the mojo back for that one. I'm still getting to know who is who around here so... how would one go about seeing what you have to offer and purchasing from you?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks Chris. I do make and sell blanks quite often. I don't have much of stock inventory because the majority of my blank selling is doing custom color castings. I mostly get requests for team colors but I'm definitely not limited to that. To get a feel for some of my castings take a look at my photo album here on IAP. There are tons of either blank samples or pens made from my blanks. Most orders come via PM here on IAP and all I'd need from you is what colors you'd like (photos are great so I can get a feel for the correct shade) and how many to make. Or you can just say "make me something cool, I like these colors..." and I'll create just that. So if there's anything in particular you'd like feel free to PM me and I'll be more than happy to create something for you!
