Well, I didn't realy think it would happen. You know how you buy something to do something and then it sits around in a box for a few years? (I guess there are many men who have their spouses remind them.)

I went to Woodcraft almost 2 years ago and bought a portable dust collector and a few connections and hoses for my table saw and band saw. The hoses have been boxed from the factory - sitting outside right next to my workbench. I did get the dust collector out of the box - last year.

Well, Now that my hand is getting better, I decided maybe I should actually hook the DC up. I wanted to cut some birch wood but didn't want the dust all over.

Wow! What an amazing difference! I'm so jazzed it is in working order now! I really wish I hadn't waited through 2 years of wood shavings.

:eek::biggrin::rolleyes:

Well, you know the saying: "better late than never".:biggrin: Look on the bright side, since the warranty on the dust collector probably expired before it was ever used you don't have to worry about it croaking as soon as the warranty expires.:rolleyes:

Now, you need to buy an air cleaner and leave it in the box for awhile! :smile-big:
