Wow, finally moved up in the high speed world from dial up. Even got the wireless, and the wife and I are both on the web, and she is on the phone at the same time. WOOOHOOOO.

Congratulations, Paul. Now I can only hope that your DSL is far more functional than mine....at first, it was great. But in short order, it became a disappointment for reasons I won't even address here. Bottom Line: (and I'm sure I'm asking for a lot of interested parties here!) how will the DSL acquisition affect PH Vise production?????????? Huh?
Just joking.....enjoy going fast!

You've joined the space age! The next thing you know, you'll be putting USB ports on the vises.

<br />Congrats Paul,
I feel your joy. Hope you've secured the wireless.
Is there something to do other than using the secure number they sent with it? When I check connections, it show security enabled.

Congrats on the DSL. I started out with cable internet, but cancelled when the price got to $40+ a month. Sure they claim that they are 2x or more faster, but they also double the price over DSL. I did notice with the cable that it relly slowed down in the evening when others are prone to be on line.

With DSL, it gets slow sometimes but I normally reset the modem and that takes care of the problem. I first got it for $13 a month, but now pay $20. unless you are trying to download movies all day long, you won't ever need that extra bandwidth that costs $20 or more extra.

Jeff,
That is a good idea, then I can hook up my laptop in the shop and have it close to my lathe.[:p][:D]

Paul,
Can you add this feature to mine, PLEASE, Thank you. (J/K)[:p][;)]

Way to Go, Paul!

I was FORCED to go DSL a few years ago when my Dad (now 90 years old) complained that his girlfriends (plural!) couldn't call him while I was websurfing using my old dial-up connection! [:p]

And I Love the wireless! My Wife sits on the sofa with her laptop playing online games, while I sit next to her with my laptop surfing penturning forums (and Ebay!). What a world we live in! [:D]

Scott.
