NOAA is currently predicting a low tonight of 13 above for Billings, but the current temperature at the airport is 11 above.

Wow .. I'd love the 37 right now. Less than 2 weeks ago (If I am recalling correctly) we had 68 degrees in the beginning of January; tonight our forecasted low is somewhere betwee 3-5 degrees, I believe, with wind chill advisory for below zero.

Guess I am missing something?? That is only a 2° degree difference.....seems like a pretty good prediction to me??

Randy,the key words are currently and current.
 
I am under the impression that most general weather predictions are not instantaneously generated nor updated. It wouldn't surprise me if the weather prediction referenced was several hours old even if it was identified as being current. And nit-picking about a degree or two seems pretty trivial to me. I'm betting there are very few folks in Billings, Montana who care much whether it is 11° or 13°!! I know that I don't.
