Hey all,
During my extended stay in Phoenix, I've done a fair amount of research into the answer for Feb 1's question. Here are the two methods that I used to confirm my answer of 2362:
1. Go to the Members List and do an Advanced Search. Then enter 2014-12-31 and 2016-01-01. Your search will come up with 2367. But then there is one more step. You need to sort the list by Date Joined. You can sort with 2014-12-31 being first. This will show that 5 of the 2367 members joined on 2014-12-31. Subtract 5 from 2367 and you'll get 2362.
2. Go to the Members List and do an Advanced Search. Then enter 2015-01-01 and 2016-01-01. This search will show 2362. You can verify that members who joined on 2015-01-01 and 2015-12-31 (and all those in between) are included in the 2362 just by sorting the list by Join Date.
Then I did a search using 2014-12-31 to 2016-01-01. This provided a list of 2378 members. Subtract the 5 members that joined 2014-12-31 and the 10 members that joined 2016-01-01 leaves you with 2363.
The next search I did was from 2015-01-01 to 2016-01-02. This provided a list of 2373 members. Since no members joined on 2016-01-02, I subtracted 10 from 2373 and got 2363.
I compared all of the searches that I've done (it was plenty) and sorted them many different ways. I came to the conclusion that one member who joined on 2015-12-31 (whose name I won't reveal) shows up on some searches but not others.
I do not have an explanation as to why this happened so those members that guessed either 2362 or 2363 will be credited with a correct answer.
