Where did I see a "Feather Casting" tutorial?????? A friend drops of some interesting feather a while ago, and, I wouldn't mind giving them a try

Included in that tutorial is the most simple and clever way to square a blank that I've ever seen. I now use that method to clean up the ends of a CA finished blank.
And I still haven't seen a pen to beat his 'IAP Pen of the Year' either:biggrin:
I wish he hung out around here more often.

Hank Lee sent me a beautiful carp skin to cast. Unfortunately, it shrunk
when I glued it to the tube. I have it held aside to try getting it off the tube
and try it on something smaller. It is beautiful .. a deep red with gold scale
lines in it. I just don't dare to ruin it further..
