Hey gang, I'm starting this list of my favorite websites to make it easier for you all to find good info and supplies without having to scour the internet for months like I did to get all these. Brian, thanks for posting these. There are a couple I've never heard of but love them. And like you, I have a deep respect for David Marks and his work. I HOPE to one day do anything comparable to him.

I watched Wood Works until they stopped showing it, then I just happened to bump into David at the 2008 AAW national symposium and he actually bought one of my pens from me! I have a testimonial on my site from him. I also made him a special closed end amboyna burl pen b/c I'm a dorky fan like that. He's a SUPER chill guy and I love the gilding/patina work he does. I hope to one day make it out to Cali for one of his classes.
 
Woodworkerszone.com is a great place. Not a huge forum yet, but some very recognizable names are there and they do regular tutorial projects (currently doing a wood plane building project there). It's a relaxed place that prioritizes mentorship.

There are several folks common between here and there.
