Looks like it did really well, smart idea. How was it to turn, non of the salt chipped out?

I'm a wood guy, but I like that a lot. Turned out way better than okay! Great job.

It wasn't as bad as I anticipated. Some chipped out but I was able to fill those areas with CA glue
