Purchased Diamond Knurl from Exotic Blanks but missing the "transmission adapter". attempted contact with Exotic Blanks four times, no response to get the part. It is the same pen as the Berea Virage. Waiting on Berea.
I want the part to complete the pen.
Question: is there another pen kit that is the same size as the blank already completed to swap kits (seems impossible to get part I need).
OR...does anyone have a "transmission adapter" I can purchase?

Hi Robert!!

Sorry for the lack of communication on my part! You will recall we played "phone tag" at the end of last year.

In order to be certain I am providing the correct parts, I check customer purchase records to find the EXACT pen that is missing parts.
I could not find any record of you purchasing any Diamond Knurls, so I am guessing it was one of the pens we donated to one of the clubs.

If you can provide the UPC, I will be happy to send the part to the address you provided us in your recent email.

To answer your question, the SIZE of the tubes for the diamond Knurl and the Berea Virage is identical: HOWEVER, the threading and length of the transmissions and adapters is probably NOT the same. We have not offered the Virage on our site for over a year.

In short, as soon as I know for sure what you need, I will be happy to mail it out!!

It could have been a donation because you are so generous to our club, but I did make 10 of these pens for gifts at Christmas. I found invoice #117185 back in December 2023 for $103 for Virage kits. The only kit that was missing the part was still in the Diamond Knurl bag with the letters: EK-DKurl-Chr-SC & chr-sc, satin nib. Each kit looked identical to me. That bag might have been the donated kit, I don't know.
Thanks so much
