I usually have one of those days but today was one of them</u> days. Everything seemed to go right.
I'm still waiting for Spring to arrive though. Hi temp was maybe 48 F. CA did not want to cure.
Anyway, I put my sharpening center together. My chisels have no excuse to be dull now. 8 inch WC slow speed grinder & Wolverine system, 6 inch delta VS grinder with felt wheels shaped for power honing and my 6 inch HS grinder for the lawn-mowers-n-stuff.
Thanks to Paul and his vise I can drill a mighty straight hole now.
Also thanks to JimGo for something he posted which made me see those thin little scraps in a whole new light. I was able to make a pen out of a blank measuring .41". I'm going to keep working on the .33".
I found that all of the sudden I CAN use a skew chisel. Boy was it sweet.
AND, I think I found the answer to something that had been nagging me about my ca finish. I'm applying my thick ca with wax paper.
Best of all, I came in to supper with ca on my fingers and a smile on my face.
