Got a 'good opportunity' to show off my carbide tool (ROTONDO) to a prospective local tool distributor. Hoping to land some additional sales. I needed a good tool handle to properly 'show it off' and this is where the Dragon handle comes in. The laser work is done by Stan (mrcook4570) and is just right to team up with the carbide 'bite'. Thanks as always Stan, your 'artistry' provided a great assist in lining up some orders. I hope you like the 'look' and would be grateful for any posting response that you may wish to provide.

I think the handles look very nice Peter. My only comment would be to lose the o-rings and burn that detail with a piece of wire, unless the o-rings serve a purpose that I'm not aware of.

The o-rings serve a good purpose, they are key element of the ergo-design. They are positioned in such a way as to make it very comfortable to hold the tool that it is intended for. This handle is designed to look good and 'feel' good in order to enhance turning experience that comes with using the tool. It is made to be a one-of-kind thing and mass production/duplication would just not be worth it.

OK..I'm a sucker for impulse buys! How much for the dragon rotondo tool? Oh yea...better burn my name on that darn thing too!

Hi Jeff,
no problem with the ROTONDO(see BUSINESS CLASSIFIEDS) tool. Tell you what, I'll give you a full refund if after using the tool for one month (more if you want) you are not satisfied with its performance. No questions asked, I want to remove the fear of purchasing on "impulse". As with all my customers, I want them to purchase based on "performance".:)

Now as far a getting a "custom made" handle with your name on it and a dragon design, we will need Stan (mrcook4570) to assist us here. Kindly PM me if you wish to go further.

wow spectacular..so pretty for a tool..and why not??? It's like old world craftpersonship..beauty & utility...my first thought was, wouldn't they make great silverware? Dunno why, but my eye said it would look great on a fancy table...I think they'd be great as anything you could dream up
