Enjoy while you have and can enjoy it. We were staying in Malibu. Saw smoke… packed and left. Got caught up in evacuation traffic but got out ok…. I feel for the community and loss… I have to commend the firefighters. Bravest people on earth.

Such a horrible situation up that way. I heard people were just leaving their cars along the evacuation route. Very scary.

Those fires are horrible and, yes, firefighters are a brave and strong breed. I'm so glad you got out of there safely. Prayers to all affected.

The fires are moving so fast that people are abandoning their cars and running for safety. Front loaders are pushing the cars aside so emergency vehicles can get through. News said it was the worst fire on record for California. Some of the homes were of celebrities and valued in the millions.

Terrible situation. Similar thing happened in Colorado a few years ago. I really feel for these people.
